Crowley Lake is located just off Highway 395 in the spectacular Eastern Sierra. The lake is 25 miles north of Bishop and 12 miles south of Mammoth Lakes. Crowley Lake is a large man made reservoir that supplies water and power to the City of Los Angeles. Crowley Lake is the largest reservoir in the entire Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP) System. Fishing season in the Eastern Sierra is the last Saturday of April to November 15th each year. The California Department of Fish & Game is responsible for all fishing regulations in the Eastern Sierra and on Crowley Lake. Please visit their website for more information www.dfg.ca.gov. Crowley Lake Fish Camp, the only concession on the lake, is operated in cooperation with LADWP. All visitors, boats, campers, must access the lake through Crowley Lake Fish Camp. Crowley Lake Fish Camp is open the last Saturday of April through October 31 of each year. Crowley Lake Fish Camp offers a full service marina with 200-plus private slips, a fleet of 84 rental boats, full hook-up RV Sites, dry camping sites, a tackle shop and convenience store. June Lake is a natural glacial mountain lake dating back 5 million years. The Marina was established in 1920 as a base for those sportsmen who found the lake to be the answer to a trout fisherman's dream. In the past, the Marina has hosted such famous people as Actor Wallace Berry, who have enjoyed not only the excellent trout fishing, but also all this area had to offer the outdoor sportsman in the 1930s and still does today. June Lake Marina stands just as it has since 1920. It has been enhanced just enough to satisfy the needs of today's sportsman. The June Lake Marina maintains an excellent beach for swimming, sailing and windsailing. We have 40 rentals available, launch facilities, docking for boats up to 24 feet, full service for motor repair, a complete bait and tackle shop and we are a dealer for Evinrude motors and Valco boats.
